Ah, if only our job had the kind of perks that San Diego-based photographer D. Brian Nelson’s does: photographing gorgeous nude women in hotel rooms everywhere from Hollywood to Ankara, Turkey. While it was his intimate and extraordinarily sexy black-and-white portraits of models and escorts was what caught our attention to begin with, his commentary on each woman and thoughts on the nature of his craft are what sets his blog apart from most of the other art nude portfolio sites we’ve come across in our travels: “Did Priscilla-Mae actually look like this when we were making the photograph? No, not really. She actually is in color. And I could clearly see the features on both sides of her face … When looking at a photograph, look for how the light works. See if the photographer was using it well or just using it for illumination. Light is what photography is about.”

The only thing we can really remember about the Oscars last night in this morning’s post-champagne party haze is how darn chaste we thought everyone looked—whatever happened to the days when Cher could present an award wearing nothing but two bottle caps and a cobweb? Fortunately, some of our esteem’d colleagues were watching for any instances of notable skin exposure more closely than we were, and while there weren’t any nipple slip incidents of Tara Reid-like proportions (admittedly a high standard to aspire towards) all those acres of silk- and taffeta-cosseted boobery are still nothing to sniff at.

DVD Review: ‘Kurupt Uncut XXX’
Now that “ Crash ” has had the recognition it deserves (chicks in trusses are hot), I felt it was time for my white wife and I to see Dogg Pound rapper Kurupt in his porny Making the Video debut. “Those white girls are cute,” one actress in the movie said, “but they’re inside with the central air while we (N-word deleted) are out in the heat.” Find out why they still had it better than Kurupt after the gap. - G.
