The Magic Of Mushrooms.
Made By Hand With Love.

How it all started! Left alone
to carve with a chainsaw and wood at my feet one tea break, whilst out logging,
the urge to play came over me. The result a wooden mushroom that I took home
to my wife. "But they come in odd numbers", she cried, "I need two
more". "If you did me another three, I could have a fairy ring". I
guessed at this point she liked them! There was no stopping me. By the
end of the week, we had mushroom tables and seats. The garden was
transformed. Friends came, saw and wanted. That was the start of a
beautiful hobby. The magic of mushrooms had begun.
Alan Gets It
Alan Titchmarsh got the magic! When
I started my mushroom career someone who worked with Alan brought him
a mushroom for his birthday. When he left my workshop he said to me,
"You might get something out of this." The next thing I knew I had a
phone call from Alan's friend saying, "Get the Sunday Telegraph."
There was half a page picture of Alan with my mushroom on his
shoulder. I could not believe it but there it was and here you have

Here I am finishing off wood carving a big
mushroom. After I have finished with the chainsaw I then start
to hand carve the mushroom to a natural shape, carving the gills
of the wooden mushroom and then burning them to give the
mushroom that real look! My mushrooms and toadstools can be made
to any size and made from a selection of durable woods; Cedar,
Chestnut, Elm, Oak, Redwood and English Yew. I have different
